MHEA Basketball is a Christian, competitive, award-winning family of teams for homeschooled students ages 8 years old through high school in the greater Memphis area. Our teams participate as part of the sports program of our parent organization Memphis-Area Home Education Association (MHEA), and as such, follow all MHEA requirements and guidelines. All MHEA sports participants must be homeschooling families registered with MHEA.

Our teams participate in homeschool tournaments and events organized by, run by, or sanctioned by the National Christian HomeSchool Championships (NCHC) organization. In order for MHEA Basketball to qualify to compete in NCHC events, our players are expected to comply with eligibility guidelines located at https://www.nchclive.com/guidelines. In addition to providing requirements for homeschooling, age, gender, academics, etc., these guidelines are designed to ensure that every NCHC participant is a homeschool student first and an athlete second.

MHEA Basketball teams compete against private and public schools at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels and against other homeschool teams and organizations. We also participate in local leagues and tournaments as opportunities arise.
